先日、東京国際映画祭の舞台挨拶で関わらせていただいた作品「スキャンダルイブ」。
映画祭では第2話までが先行上映されましたが、今週から続編の配信がスタートし、毎週1話ずつ新しい展開を追えるようになりました。
作品は、世の中に流れる週刊誌のスキャンダルの裏側に踏み込み、そこに関わる人々の思惑や揺れる気持ちが丁寧に描かれています。
視聴者として目にするスキャンダルの“その裏側”で何が起きているのかを覗き見るような感覚で、気がつけば物語に引き込まれていました。
特に印象的だったのは音楽で、緊張感をじわりと高めるような音の使い方が、物語のドキドキ感をさらに増幅させていたように感じます。
映画祭の会場で味わった緊張と熱気が、配信を通じて再び甦るようでとても嬉しいです。
来週からの展開も楽しみです。
I had the opportunity to participate in the stage greeting for ”Scandal Eve” at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
While the festival featured an advance screening of the first two episodes, the sequel began streaming this week.
Watching it felt like peeking behind the curtain of the scandals we usually only see on the surface, and I found myself gradually drawn into its suspenseful atmosphere.
What stood out to me most was the music—layered sound and subtle tension-building effects that heightened the thrill of each scene.
It’s wonderful to feel that same sense of tension and excitement return to me through streaming, reminding me of the atmosphere at the festival venue.
I’m already looking forward to the episodes to come.
