CNN主催のイベントで同時通訳を担当させて頂きました。
CNNのように大きく世界中にネットワークをもつメディアのあり方も時代と共に変わっているのですね。
ステージ上の特派員の皆さんは仕事柄話慣れている事もあってか流れるように話しが進み、なんとか通訳も追いついた感じでしたが、個人的にも学びの多い一日でした。
Hello, I am Fukai, a VIP and sports interpreter.
I was in charge of simultaneous interpretation at an event hosted by CNN.
Through many sessions, we could realize the way of media with a large worldwide network like CNN is changing with the times.
The correspondents on stage were very fluent, probably because they are used to talking in their work, and as an interpreter I tried to keep up with them.
It was a busy day but I am grateful for the opportunity as I learned a lot from those sessions.
